I only chose this cruise because my future cruise credit was expiring in September and I did not want to fly with the way the airlines are now. Being from New England I chose this cruise because it was an easy departure port for me. My originally planned cruise was on the Equinox in the Southern Caribbean for 12 days which was the one that first got cancelled. I rebooked the same itinerary on the EDGE and that got cancelled. Both of those cruises were on these nicer, newer ships in a balcony cabin. I ended up in an INSIDE cabin on an old, boring ship with not a lot of style or class. I could not snag a balcony and was unable to get a "complementary" upgrade because the ship was full. (supposedly). I had chosen Celebrity because I had sailed on most of the other cruise lines and always heard that Celebrity was a notch above the rest which I can not say I could not prove at all! I am not sure if that is becuase getting back to sailing the cruise lines are having issues hiring enough employees or are trying to save money to get back up to speed after their long hiatus. I definitely can say at this point I am not impressed with their customer service, their service, their food, their excursions. The best part was the entertainment provided

So being a Canada bound cruise we still had to test negative to board on day one but not sure what difference it made since by the time we reached Canada it was already day 3 of the cruise so what was the point? A silly requirement and just ended up being an extra expense and inconvenience, Not sure why there was a statement that if you were NOT vaccinated you would be tested at the terminal but if you were fully vaccinated you had to provide proof of a negative test - backwards as far as I can see.

The ship itself was one of the most boring interiors of any ship I have been on. The central area was plain and dull, the artwork that was decorating the walls was very strange, and the statues were insulting. Who wants a statute of a large woman laying down at the pool? I considered it grotesque and insulting.

Cabin Review

Inside cabin deck 3 - The cabin was centrally located mid ship and easy to get to anywhere. The cabin steward kept the cabin clean and nicely serviced. The temperature in the room was difficult to control - it was usuallyl either too hot or too cold. The room was very small and just barely large enough for two people. If someone came out of the bathroom and the other person was getting anything out of the closet there was an issue,
