Scarlet Lady Review

Ship was beautiful, food was great. But the music piped in at the pool and eating areas was too loud and techno.

We wanted to try Virgin Voyages so we booked the 5 day cruise. The food was great in most of the restaurants, all specialty quality all free. The service and crew were friendly and competent. The ship has implemented some great ideas. The pool was horrible, only the middle was deep so it doesn’t hold many people. It was a mob scene and the ships music was much too loud and most was that techno sound that went right through you. The entertainment was practically non existent and the 3 “shows” they had were not appropriate and vulgar. Also they only were done twice and always sold out so you could not see them even if you wanted to. And I don’t think you would want to. No shows like other cruise lines have. In the area that is usually the buffet they have 12 stations with different foods but you sit down and order from a crew member and they bring it to you. So to summarize, it’s beautiful with some great ideas but they need to get their act together.
