So with 90+ cruises under our belts the last and only NCL cruise was with NCL Epic almost ten years ago. We don’t have to go into why Epic is such an Epic failure, but Prima is a true winner. Since the cruise restart we’ve been on 10+ cruises including Oceania and Regent. Food wise nothing really beats Oceania, but now NCL is a close second. Some of the dishes on board was truly stunning. Food is varied, plentiful and absolutely elevated.

The ship is beautifully designed. Some fellow guests we talked to onboard liked the Breakaway class better, but looking at pictures this ships look more like MSC to me. Glitzy and colorful. Prima has a more sophisticated decor. The balcony stateroom was large and for once I didn’t bump my head in the towel rack once, because it’s moved over to the side. Smart move. Balconies are large and have a much too small table, but very comfortable seating.

Staff was excited and service was high. Being the first revenue sailing not did go 100% smooth, but I was surprised how well put together the ship was. We sailed with less than 2000 and still the buffet was jam packed and at more capacity it will be a fail. The Indulge is absolutely great, but maybe to difficult for some. I would introduce Pizza as a station to alleviate some pressure from the buffet.
