We were on the Emerald Princess British Isles cruise in late July. Although we did have fun, we were disappointed overall by the items many have noted including service in general, uneven food quality, and medallion app functionality. We were also disappointed by many other things including:

* the lack of any recognition of our 3 special events (we had 2 birthdays and 1 anniversary in our group, and the only recognition was a tiny icon on the screen next to the appropriate door)

* a couple of people on the cruise director's team who had some laughs at the expense of guests but not in a completely benign way

Cabin Review

Cabin was very standard. We were in an Ocean View room on the starboard side at the bow, with a partially obstructed view. On tender days we heard the noise of the anchor in a big way, but that is to be expected.
