The cruise ship was in for routine maintenance and we were informed the day of embarkation that there was a strike in North Vancouver and the ship would be delayed until 1 PM. They then told us 4:PM. At 4 were told we could go to the terminal to check in, and proceeded to wait until 6:30 PM to check in. Once we arrived on the ship we were told it would not leave until 1:00 AM the next day. On the next day we were informed we were going to skip the first port and proceed to the second port. We would of much rather gone to the first port ( Ketchcikan ) than the second port (Icy Straight Point).
We also had to skip Cruising Hubbard Glacier because of fog.
The service on the ship was poor. When you call for room service or housekeeping you get an automated voice that says they are paging your person. We had to call numerous times on many occasions because no one ever called back.
Cabins are small and bathroom is extremely small. See above.
Tour was expensive for what you get. The town is broke.
