11 day cruise with my family from Iceland, to Norway, to Scotland and finished in London. Fourth time sailing with Norwegian, first time on one of their smaller ships. As we had anticipated, it was very much in line with our other Norwegian cruises, just with smaller venues and less bells-and-whistles. The staff was phenomenal; always professional, friendly and helpful. We lost one of our luggage flying to Reykjavik, and the guest services took wonderful care of us, making arrangements to get the bag delivered to the boat at a future port, and delivering it to our room - they went out of their way to accommodate and recompense us, even though it was in no way NCL's fault.

Up-charge restaurants were fantastic (especially Cagney's Steakhouse), however I found the complementary restaurants hit-and-miss, which was a first for me on a Norwegian Cruise. The buffet was generally fine, as was the pub food, but I usually find the main dining rooms excellent. Instead we actually had a few less-than-stellar meals there. In fairness, we also had one of the best meals of the trip in the "Aqua" dining room, but we almost didn't go back after one particularly weak offering. Might just have been a couple of off nights for particular meals, but like I said, its the first time I wasn't happy with the meals in an NCL main dining room, and it happened a couple of times.

Entertainment was excellent, if a little repetitive. The main shows were high quality in the evenings. Around the boat throughout the days were the same half-dozen musicians, who were all excellent, but by day 11, you had seen their performances a few times.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Acceptable balcony cabin. The overall size was a bit smaller than other ships I've been on, and I was surprised how cramped the bathroom was compared to other NCL cabins I've been in. Lots of storage space. Beds were comfortable.
