Been on Allure before and loved the ship! Specifically chose this cruise since over husband’s birthday. Port checkin was a disaster. All computers went down just as processing began with first agent. No one knew what to do. Finally was escorted to the desk agent and she was clueless. Another circulated saying to write down passenger name and cabin number. Then let them board. We walked on while the lines below grew longer.

Cabins opened at 1pm. As we boarded. Deck 12 starboard balcony cabin that looked a little tired but clean waited for us. Seems new luggage delivery is to leave in hallways and have passengers find them then drag to their cabins. Did have an excellent steward. Bed was comfy, pillows nice and a/c kept cabin cool. Shower tube was as expected but one all purpose soap dispenser pretty cheap! Why bother?

Unfortunately there was a family w small child next to us and the kid was always screaming. Seems they left their cabin balcony door open whenever there.
