We chose the cruise as it was embarking at Valencia which is a two hour drive from home. As we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary we upgraded to the Yacht Club suite. This was a unique experience for us. It is the only cruise we have been on and enjoyed a la carte restaurant for the duration. The food and service was very good. I started to make a list of people who made it special for us but it became too long to name them. It would have made it more enjoyable if it was adults only. Or a cap on the ages of the children. No-one wants to listen to crying babies when enjoying dinner. The ship in general was family orientated and the entertainment catered for them mainly. There were 950 children on board in September. Apparently they only return to school mid Sept. Duly noted!

The entertainment in the Yacht club lounge was a pianist and he was excellent but please not all night, every night.

As a couple We had little need for the Butler. We used him twice, once for the theatre and dis-embarking.
