This is another cruise allocated to us from covid cancelled cruises way back, so just went along to clear out the backlog of cancelled cruises.

Booked internal as usual and was worried about cabin after last two cruises on this ship.

Asked cabin steward if cabin has any problems and they said no problems with water. All looked OK except for drawers stuck and not closing so hoped would be Ok. Shower water temperature was OK, but water pouring down from shower head. That night couldn't sleep because every 9 1/2 minutes a large bang came through wall from crew area, something like a motor starting or air conditioning noise, also mattress was dead with large dip in it on one side, also frame of bed was giving lots of squeaking noises non stop as ship was moving. Next morning straight to reception AGAIN to complain, later was told will be moved. Was going to jump up and down and complain about it, but was put into a balcony so was happy with outcome, however did have super hot water and a leak under sink, but was attended to that day.

Cabin Review

Was put in cabin 11508. That was a disaster as in story, cabin steward must be too scared to report noises and problems and only act on passenger complaints. Do not book this room it is next to a crew entrance and has so many problems.

Next they gave us a balcony, now I know who gets the attention and good things, but glad I didn't pay for it, even the towels were soft the pillows were better, everything. And even the faults I reported were attended to that day.

ps You still need to ask for face washers and tissues. Oh yes it was room 12206.
