We booked our cruise about 3 years ago, before COVID.Charter flight from Reykjavik to Greenland to board ship was a mess, left hotel at 4:15 am,flight finally left at 8:00 am.We had a short game viewing ride after arriving in Greenland, did see some animals, boarding ship went ok.Greenland was great, very scenic, saw a few whales.Once in Canada game viewing was very, very parse. The crew, and food has been great,we have one week until we arrive in Nome.Hope for more animal sightings! The landscape is pretty barren, there are no trees,we have encountered very little ice, ship did proceed thru one small field .We have stopped in numerous small communities along way the local inhabitants mostly are very friendly and like to explain their way of Artic life.Weather has been basically good coolest day time temperature has been around 30 degrees .We have seen very few other ships, less than five.Entertainment on ship consist of a very talented piano player and a guitar player and singer,we also have lectures from the expedition team every day.All in all it has been an “Expedition “.
