We have used Celebrity before in the Med and enjoyed them. Booked this cruise and was disappointed with the following: stateroom had a broken drawer, makeup was left in the cabin from a previous guest, carpets were frayed and dated, furniture in lobbies were stained very dated and worn, menus for the main dinning room very severely frayed and worn, some menus had food stains. We found the main dinning for breakfast and lunch to be poor and substandard. The late dinning was fine however. The entertainment was fine as was the staff friendliness. The Ports were nice as well. Overall as stated above of the five cruises we have been on, the Solstice was the most dated and worn. I would use Celebrity again but I would pay closer attention to the age of the ship and its condition. The other cruise lines we have used were Princess and Royal Caribbean.
