We specifically chose Disney as we were sailing with our grandkids, ages two and three and felt that it would be easiest and most fun on the Disney Dream. The cabins are designed for sharing with children unlike most other cruiseships. The deluxe veranda has plenty of well designed space and storage as well as a good separation between adult and children sleeping areas.
We knew we wouldn’t be ruining anyones dinner time with littles at the table!
Having gone on dozens of cruises (HAL, Princess. X, Cunard, Silversea, Hapag Lloyd, Aqua Expeditions)over the last twenty years, I was really pleased with the ship, it’s classy, well maintained and basically a happy place !
I am not sure I entered the right category. We had a deluxe veranda on deck 9, amidships.
Excellent cabin and location, we were near the adult only area and spa up just two flights and a few steps forward. Kids and grandkids, were next to us and we had adjoining rooms,
Do yourself a favor and book yourself into a deck that has no public rooms, above, below or adjacent to your cabin. Look at the square footage and layout, only then, book your cabin. If you are new to cruising, use a travel agent who knows the ship and can advise you,. You don’t pay for this and may get a room credit,
