I'm a seasoned passenger with Carnival - Platinum, been cruising with you for 22 years and each year, you get less for your money. Went with family and grandkids this past week and though some parts were good. Other parts have gone way down hill. Biggest complaint is the smell throughout the ship...SEWAGE, outside on deck 3 was horrible, certain hallways, same, try not to complain but the straw if you will was 5:30 in the morning Thursday with the grandkids sound a sleep from an exhausting day in Princess Cays which they couldn't get to till after noon because they ran out of shuttle passes. I was awoken to a loud noise, coming from my bathroom, water was shooting up from the bottom of the shower, then the sink and toilet. I couldn't help but think this water is what I've been brushing my teeth with. The cabin stewards I only saw once a day, so only ice in the morning. The Dining room was nice. Guys Burgers has went down hill big time, less tops, thinner burgers. Drinks candy straws which are disgusting and only get those with frozen drinks..they say the environment...they could use paper straws. Supposed to be no drugs, prevalent throughout the ship. I showed them video of the sewage coming up, no apology, just send in some paperwork when you get home. So I googled sewage and Carnival and it's been going on for some time. In Princess Cays shuttle over the water was beautiful, once on the beach and in the water it was pretty disgusting, feces and unidentifiable things floating in water. Also the military appreciation gathering that I used to enjoy, they cut that short too with the songs from all the branches just a little blip from each branch, kept the video from the President Christine Duffy long and boring and talking about her family. They offered one gentleman a free drink, imo your gonna show appreciation, give all who attend a free drink. I understand you're trying to recoup money, but going about it the wrong way, cutting so many corners the first day on my sail and sign card they had 50 dollars worth of charges that weren't mine. All the little things through the past few years have added up enough to say I'm done with Carnival. Back to Royal Caribbean.

I posted this on my facebook page and on yelp, friends on facebook agreed should be some kind of compensation and or free cruise. I've posted this on yelp with pics and I have videos as well. I try not to complain but the constant smelling of sewage and then having it come up in my cabin early why the kids were sleeping was too much. Also dripping water in buffet dining room, didn't have my phone or would have videotaped it, water dripped down on to my omelet from above my head. My friend asked if I would ever sail on Carnival again and I had to say no, unless they offered me a free one on a newer ship.

It saddens me what started out fun 22 years ago has come to what it is today, more money and less attention to passengers and things that matter.
