Sail Date: Aug 2022
Cabin: Penthouse Suite with Balcony

This Princess Discovery – their newest, only 3 months old? Never again. It’s designed to contain everyone indoors – keeping them buying drinks etc. The acts were lame and filled every seat because there was nothing else to do. Some of the bar staff were laughing up their cuffs at the customers – in my opinion.

Warm weather - everything fogged out. Ice burgs so no glacier seen.

The route has to be clearly designed to travel the INSIDE PASSAGE. At Sea should not be misread. When they say At Sea… they mean exactly that. Can’t imagine what the 3 wasted days coming up from San Francisco would be like. They moved so quickly for one full day out of Seattle we could fell the strength of the heavy screw turning and shaking the bed all night. [ Penthouse – lovely deck… but ] I didn’t look into this enough. It never was going to be great as this doesn’t go to the inside passage. I thought at last… to Victoria? Then Seattle. No.

Cabin Review

Penthouse Suite with Balcony

lovely marble bathroom. Loved having a tub. The deck is spectacular. it's why we chose this cabin. to entertain. That didn't happen - fogged in or raining. The living space was small for a Penthouse. No way to contact the room valet. Just call room service and they'll relay the message. Not efficient.
