We chose the Cruise as it had a great Itinery and also to get back to normality after 2 years of Covid restrictions, boarding in Southampton was a breeze and we liked the Ship overall, our Cabin was nicely laid out and was a decent size for an inside with plenty of Coat hangers, the food was very good in the Capri Restaurant however the Desserts were a bit repetitive, the staff were very polite and our waitress Marianna really looked after us, the Buffet upstairs was good but didn't have the variation we were expecting from our past Cruises and the wine up there was poor, the quizzes and games organised onboard were good we joined in several and the Ships entertainers didn't disappoint the Theatre we thought was a decent size but felt the entertainment in there a bit lacking, the one singing and dancing show we had up to day 10 was very good but thought it was aimed at a younger audience, I say up to day 10 because after that we came down with Covid which we had managed to avoid until the Cruise, they put us into quarantine in a Balcony Cabin and from there it all went downhill, we never saw anyone after the initial positive test and nobody contacted us to ask how we were in the next 4 days, fortunately we didn't suffer badly with it but getting food was a nightmare, most things we ordered wasn't completed especially breakfast and trying to get 2 eggs or beans Mushrooms and Tomato was an impossibility the Bacon that arrived was disgusting but we had no choice other than to eat it or we would have starved, we didn't get any breakfast at all on the last morning even though we had ordered early, also the Medallion App didn't work a lot of the time especially when we needed to order food or drinks which added to the frustrations, on the last morning we were told we would disembark at 9:30 am then we had a phone call to say it would be 9am ahead of schedule however it was after 10:30 when the knock came, they gave us paper documentation of our time in quarantine for proof of our FCCs of which we are still waiting to receive. Up until Covid we had enjoyed but wouldn't want another experience like that again.

Cabin Review

Very nice, spacious for an inside and plenty of room for clothes
