We had taken an Alaskan cruise on Princess back in 2019 and wanted to take our grown children and their spouses on one because it was so wonderful. I had shared all my excitement with our kids and talked them into trying a Princess Cruise. I was embarrassed as to how this cruise came nowhere near lining up in any way with what I had promised them based on our previous one. Don't know if I'll take another Princess cruise or not.

Truly, our last Carnival cruise had superior entertainment to this cruise. Food was equal. Our last excursion was full of unfulfilled promises of rich stories and zipping in and out of hidden coves, glaciers and wildlife that our guide stated from the beginning of our open water zodiac loop would not happen in that place at that time...he was right. What a waste of $400 for the 2 of us.

The shows were a huge disappointment in costumes, props and for a 7dy cruise there were only 2 shows and no "Voice of the Ocean".

Cabin Review

this cabin we were upgraded to - had 2 wall style upper bunks...there was just the 2 of us, we were continually hitting our heads on them. Not much of an upgrade.
