We chose the Carnival Legend from Baltimore to Bermuda because it was only a 2 hour drive from NJ, the dates worked well for us, and we did not want to fly to a cruise port as we did previously. This is our 3rd time cruising on Carnival (we have also cruised Royal) and this ship would rank 3rd if we ranked all 3 Carnival ships we have been on.

I guess the theme here is "lowered expectations". Was this an awful cruise? No, and that is mainly due to the extremely hard working and friendly staff that really tries hard. But the realities are this: the ship is old and need a refresh, the itinerary for this trip (Baltimore to Bermuda) makes no sense, and as hard as the staff worked they were terribly understaffed and it showed.

Embarking was no problem. Parking at the port is $15 per day and there are plenty of spots. The embarking process was painless (except for the people who held up the lines trying to find things like passports, boarding passes, Bermuda travel authorizations, etc.) - where did they think they were going?
