Take it from a die-hard Holland America fan, we thought if we spent more, we would enjoy more on the Celebrity Constellation. We cruise a few times a year.

We rented a family suite on the Constellation, a splurge if you will for just us "2" that featured an oversized balcony on the back of the ship. The room turned out to be the only quiet we could find in the 10 days we sailed. It was a saving grace.

The Celebrity ship is cheap in every way possible. Those of you that have sailed MSC might know what I am alluding to. The food in the regular cafe was often nasty, cold, and really quite horrid. Dinners in the main dining room were good, except the staff wasn't able to get them served. On two specific nights, our 8:30 seating ..rendered dinner served after 9:30 pm. The dining room was so short-staffed that our of 10 nights, we saw a beverage steward only 2 nights. This is a great disappointment to those that paid for a drink package and couldn't get a drink to save their life.

Cabin Review

Sunset Veranda

We rented the family suite.

When we entered the room the couch was broken and bedding was hanging out of it.

On the second to last day, our room sprung a leak in the hallway closet which flooded our room. A bad smell developed. We were happy to get off the ship.
