We ended up with back to back cruises only because of old cancelled cruises thanks to Covid.

Whilst on the Covid subject. Previous cruise on 20th did not see any covid cabins as with previous cruises and same with this cruise. So if it was onboard didn't hear anyone discussing or mentioning it, mask wearing on each cruise is less and less. It is still mentioned on intercom but nobody enforces it, so people just ignore it.

We changed floors from level 11 to level 10 and yes we had cool showers, but after level 11 problems it was fine, until day 3 when toilet vacuum failed and no plumbers could be found. So at end of the day we were repositioned to level 8, but at least they gave us a window. Lights faulty but fixed next day and door slamming on level 7 by staff fixed later that night.

Cabin Review

As stated we were moved from level 10 after two nights had luke warm shower, because of toilet problem and no plumbers would answer calls from guest services.

Level 8 was a window cabin so came out in front. Besides light fault ( fixed next day) and noise from slamming door level 7 by crew ( fixed later that night) all was good. Shower worked and good temperature.

Port Reviews

Cairns

Been a few times and ship was late.

Took local bus 110 up to Palm Cove ( cheap $6 return for seniors ), but this time got out at Clifton Beach and walked around there for a while, it is beautiful. Then walked to northern end and onto new pathway just inland from beach up to Palm Cove. Walked around for a while ( was there few weeks previous ) it is a busy place, then got bus back to Cairns.

Back to ship for a while then out at sunset for lights show around the town and pool area, quite interesting and good pictures ( also free ), then again to night markets just for a look.

Day 2 in Cairns -Was to leave at 5pm but then told 7pm. Another typical day on board.

Too late to now book a day out on reef as all gone for day.

So just walked around town then later went walking again, lots of interesting things to see that you usually miss if in a hurry.
