Sail Date: Aug 2022

Ship was previously the Star Princess, it had a new paint job and sat in Sydney for two weeks for staff training and some Australian updates ( think power points etc ).

Ship is very impressive and takes approx. up to 3000 passengers. Our trip had about 1600.

Things seemed to go wrong from the start.

Cabin Review

As stated problems with hot water the whole cruise, they tried giving me another room for showering, but it was even hotter water, so passed that one in.

Port Reviews

Cairns

First day went for a bus ride on local coach run, only cost $3.50 ( seniors ) each way, bargain.

Went walking around the tracks for a while, then around town and checking out the train and skyrail ( both expensive ).

Second day - booked a trip to Fitzroy Island with Book Me on line ( only $70 each return not $90). Great visit, even the weather was good, beautiful walk to Nudey Beach and then lovely coffee and walk along beach spotting turtles in water then return to Cairns around lunch time. Walk around Cairns in afternoon.
