We are experienced NCL cruisers, having been on many of the ships over the years, including both Bliss and Epic during their inaugural seasons. This cruise was a disappointing experience, and based on it, I am not sure I will continue to be an NCL patron. I was a gold Latitudes member before this cruise and made platinum level with the points earned on it, so I have some experience with the NCL brand.

First positive: the staff was very friendly and helpful overall. We didn't have a great room steward, and a few of the wait staff were not very prompt. But there were many others who took the time to listen, ask to help, and who remembered our names and took the time to say hello when they saw us. Second positive: the ship is very clean. I don't like the refurbishment, NCL removed a lot of amenities when they did the refitting, and there is not a lot to do on the ship. But it's clean and for an old ship the decor is pretty current.

That's the positives. Yes, I only have two.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Our cabin was very small for three people, there was not a twin pull out as I have been used to for the third person in the cabin on previous ships. I was surprised in our class of cabin that the room was as small as it was.
