The ship is beautiful. This was our first cruise since the Pandemic so we weren't certain what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised and found the ship to be staffed appropriately and most of the staff were well trained. We specifically booked this cruise for the port of Skagway and the train ride shore excursions but this port was changed due to rock slides which affected the dock that Discovery was to dock at. BUT the substitute port of Icy Point Strait was a pleasant surprise due to the shore excursion which we booked...the Back Country Jeep Tour was awesome! The Guide was excellent and knew much about this area and the historic town of Hoonah. We were able to see a bear fishing for salmon in a local stream. I would highly recommend this shore excursion in this port as opposed to the other offerings.

The Cruise Staff was excellent and we really enjoyed all of the Trivia games with Karen, Kimberly and Shell.

The food was fine and very typical of Princess in general. The Crown Grill was outstanding.
