The Greenland itinerary was the only reason for this cruise and even though we missed Nuuk, the other two ports there made the trip worthwhile. Refunds for the shuttle from LaGuardia for an over 2 hour wait, full refund for the medallion Internet that seldom worked, refunds for the missed shore excursion in Nuuk and refunds for the taxes left a large credit on my account that can only be got by a cheque from Princess that Guest Services is not sure when it will be sent. On the good side , cabin was comfortable except the tiny shower with no ventilation, the dining room service and food was great in the Palm, the ship was clean but old. The entertainment horrible in the theatre. Most passengers over seventy. Lots of coronavirus cases.
But Greenland was worth it all, as were the Canadian ports, especially St. John’s. I wouldn’t sail on this ship again, but I had a good time.
It was an obstructed ocean view with only the bottom of the window blocked. Cabin was clean and bed comfortable. Worst tiny shower on sea. No ventilation in bathroom.
Took shore excursion to Peggy’s cove. Not worth it as they give you less than an hour there. Port shops and restaurants missing since Covid.
If you stay in town , you can walk to the historical houses and churches within10 minutes on your own, skip the walking tour. Pretty town .
Excellent port, with everything walkable. Did the hike excursion down signal hill. Only the very fit should attempt this as guide runs down . For the cautious due to loose rocks and very steep terrain it will take 2 hours. Loved the churches and cathedral all free. Best port for souvenirs and restaurants.
