Enjoyable cruise, Coral Princess may be an older vessel, she is clean and her appearance in public areas outside and inside, we could not fault. Outside paintwork, varnished wooden railings gleaming, spotless decking, maintenance crew continually seen cleaning and touching up paintwork and wiping off sea spray. Our trip had wild seas and the areas of glass must be nightmare to keep clean. Interior carpets clean, good condition in stairwells, cabins and public areas. Found her public bathrooms kept spotless and shining. Tight control kept on handwashing prior to entering buffet dining. Everyone wore masks....it does not kill anyone to wear a mask while wandering about! Our spotless cabin with balcony a good size for two. Bathroom though small, was well laid out. Shower hot, excellent water pressure. The dressing area outside the bathroom with generous hanging space and storage. Our cabin attendant; was like a quiet genie who came and went from the cabin in our absence, the cabin kept in perfect condition; he was usually seen in the hallway with a cheerful greeting and a smile. Cabin with balcony Caribe deck mid.
The entertainment was enjoyable, and featured some talented female singers with excellent voices, though sadly their orchestral accompaniment was too loud, singers voices should dominate the performance.
Buffet food was serve yourself. Enjoyed the small, attractive pre-prepared dishes of varied, tasty food morsels. Hot dish choices were excellent; the variety of mix yourself salad ingredients fresh and well presented. The bread and bread buns, and bakery items very good. The Ice Cream parlour had the most amazing milk shakes, we were not at all deterred by the $2.50 charge, they were lush and creamy and delicious, with a cherry on top.
