Specifically, the crew was an absolute five star cast of good, young people. Kelly Anne, Leilani, Deborah, Anna, Kylie, Marina, Wayne, Skarlet, Racheal, Trinity, Justin and Chris all made our trip enjoyable via their hospitality, smiles and work ethic.
The boat itself is a 4.5 out of 5. The rooms were lovely and of a good size and having the balcony was really a nice feature. We took this cruise with my wife’s sister and her husband, as we are travel buddies, and the staff took down the partition on the balcony between our two adjoining rooms, so that was a nice touch. The bathroom was also nice sized with a fairly large shower.
The excursions, which are a big part of the experience, were overall pretty good. Going to the Grand Ole Opry on our last night was the highlight of the trip for all four of us. Cruising on the Mississippi River itself was fascinating to me, and it truly is the Mighty Mississippi. One nice feature was the presentations on board by Bobby Durham, who also is a musician and played for us. Mr. Durham’s knowledge of the history of the rivers was enjoyable to listen to.
