Plenty of cruises behind us now to be able to give a balanced appraisal, and I would suggest that this review is read alongside my review of the Explorer 2 as there were only 9 days between both cruises. You wouldn’t think that these cruises were provided by the same company.

There was a fantastic friendly atmosphere throughout the ship, with the crew going out of their way to ensure that guests were well catered for. Our cabin team of Yasa +2 on deck 8 were amazing. All of the waiters in 47 restaurant worked tirelessly with a special mention to Dwi and Joel on station 8 who went the extra distance. The food quality was top drawer as always.

The entertainment was fantastic, with all performers being strong. In fact every one was better than on the Explorer 2, even the Cruise Director Franky was head and shoulders better than the Explorer 2. More visible and more entertaining too. Read more
