We chose this cruise because we could drive to the port and it was a quick 6 day to Bermuda. This was our first cruise after COVID. This itinerary did not start up until May so when I booked it there were no cruise critic reviews that were post COVID. After paying it off reviews started coming in with multiple negative comments on the age of the ship, the activities/shows and some maintenance issues. I admittedly am not easy to please but we felt the ambience,

cleanliness and food/entertainment was really good. Yes it is an older, smaller ship with the most dated furniture in the cabins but in the public areas both the carpeting and furniture looked new and very clean. The crew was outstanding and constantly were welcoming, helpful, upbeat and energetic.. There were plenty of activities on sea days and the evening shows were varied and entertaining (a comedian, a juggler and a dance production show on 3 different nights). Lots of exercise and dance classes and game shows to get involved in. We found nothing negative on this ship and had a wonderful time. The stop in Bermuda is short so you have to plan your time well before you arrive in Bermuda. We booked a 5 hr Bermuda Island by Mini-bus tour and it was 5 star. Very knowledgeable guide and we learned a lot about life in Bermuda. The only negative which does not directly involve the ship was the drive to parking at the port. Travelers are given check-in times but unfortunately the majority do not respect those times so our arrival at 11:30 AM was a congested nightmare as others got there really early causing a major traffic jam. I view this more on the Port of Baltimore than RCCL's embarkation procedures. After reading some of the June/July reviews stating the ship should be scrapped we almost cancelled the cruise!!! Soooo glad we did not as the ship has a wonderful ambience, the crew is one of the best we have had on 30+ cruises and we had plenty to do and great food to eat!!

Cabin Review

We were in an oceanview balcony on 7th floor. Cabin was immaculately clean and

everything worked fine but the furniture is outdated. There was plenty of space

for everything.
