We chose this cruise for its length and itinerary. It was my 3rd time on the Mariner OS. This cruise was definitely the best of 4 since the restart. The ship was fully staffed and near capacity. The MoS is a great size, easy to navigate and is comfortable. The casino is a little small but always active, particularly in the evenings. Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire were all first time stops for us and we were not disappointed. All three were uniquely beautiful and welcoming. We self toured Aruba and Curacao just walking and checking out the sights. We purchased an island tour excursion for Bonaire. We will definitely plan another Southern Caribbean cruise. We purchased the unlimited dining package. This is one of the greatest cruise related purchases I've ever made. It gave us access to all the specialty restaraunts all day everyday. We couldve also purchased chefs table at a grerat discount as a dining pkg perk. We enjoyed each of the spaecialty venues at least twice and took advantage of access to Johnny Rockets and Playmakers. Chops, Izumi and Jamies were all perfection each time we dined. We had an amazing time aboard the Mariner of the Seas.

Spacious Ocean View Balcony

We had a great oceanview blacony stateroom #8332. The balcony was spacious and private. The room was comfortable and sufficient. Storage is plentiful and electrical outlets are scarce.

Port Reviews

Aruba

My only complaint is the unnecessary route from the ship into town. Alot of walking just to get to the other side of the fence. Please, install another gate! Aruba is beautiful and very active. HIgh end shopping, Casinos, restaraunts, bars, etc., all within walking distance.

Bonaire

We purchased an island tour excursion onboard. it was a comfortable airconditioned tour bus. It was very informative. The guide, Big John, was great. He even got salt crystals for each of us from the pink salt ponds. We saw many Pink Flamingos and other animals along the way. We visited the slave huts and the salt ponds. There are many opportunities here for touring and diving around the island. We hope to be back here soon with more time to explore.
