Chose this cruise as the itinerary was very different from other 8 river cruises we have done with Emerald. Was not disappointed with any part of the trip. The Emerald staff on the Radiance were all extremely well trained and customer focused. The food onboard was all excellent and varied daily with an upper deck BBQ for lunch on one of the days. An evening at a local winery with food, drink and live music was included in the itinerary, again this was excellent and very different. Evening entertainment onboard was a bit low key mainly based on quiz nights and a karaoke competition but the atmosphere in the bar lounge was always cheery. Trio of professional entertainers were onboard one night and they were extremely good. Weather was extremely good on the trip always 28C to 34C and very sunny. Upper deck area was very usable and plenty of deck furniture. Would book this trip again, it really was that good.
