We chose this cruise because we've long wanted to visit Budapest and Prague, and extensions to both cities were available. Of course, we've also long wanted to cruise the Danube, especially to see Austria. Also, we'd heard so many good things about Viking cruises and we wanted to see for ourselves. We were not disappointed! Everything from start to finish was incredibly well-organized. Both of the Viking-arranged hotels were first class, and both the Viking staff at the hotels as well as the hotel staff itself were very friendly and helpful. The recommended restaurants well terrific. We loved both cities, especially Budapest.

And then the cruise itself was great--the crew, the cabin and the food were excellent. That's especially true of the crew. Everyone was terrific! We enjoyed all of our excursions. The tour guides were always organized, knowledgeable, and friendly. We were impressed by all of the buses on which we travelled--modern, comfortable and spotless!

We feel that we got great value for the cost, and we look forward to another Viking cruise.
