First, the food was definitely better than I expected. Being an old ship, the crew was great at keeping it clean. Our room steward (Miriam) was one of the best we ever had. We greatly enjoyed the Piano bar with Giovanni . The cruise itself was far better than expectations. They had lots of entertainment going on all day and night. We would of liked to stay in Key West a little longer because most of the establishments were closed until 10 or 11 and had to be back to ship by 1. Now the thing that ruined what would of been an all around great cruise. We booked an aft balcony and payed extra for it.

After spending first night on balcony, the next morning we found our clothes covered with black stains and now in the daylight we noticed the balcony covered in black soot It was coming from the exhaust on the boat. It was brought to the attention of the room steward who cleaned it up that morning but by afternoon, it was covered in soot again. We notified the desk who related that they would start a complaint and provide us with a document which we never received after several requests. We would not able to enjoy our balcony the whole cruise and were not able to get the stains out of some of our clothing. The ship offered us a $50 credit WOW. Attempts the reach Carnival whole day was a waste of time because they require an email notice. This was our 13th Carnival cruise and probably our last
