Sail Date: Jul 2022
Cabin: Deluxe Stateroom with Balcony and Bath/Shower

Norway & Iceland cruise July 2022. The worst cruise ever.

Firstly food - no vegetarian menu, unable to get any senior staff to talk to me abut this. When I complained they said there was nothing they could do as it was all down to Head Office, pathetic. Tried to talk to Hotel Manager, no luck, tried Food & Beverages manager – no luck, finally got to the assistant Food & Bev manager and a Head Waiter. The head waiter was the most helpful, but still had very little choice and the standard was poor, bland and unimaginative. No specialty restaurants open, generally under staffed and staff poorly trained eg in Silver Service or customer service. .

We never made Norway as the ship couldn’t get into either of the ports we were supposed to visit due to weather problems. We went to Kirkwall in the Orkneys instead – and the excursions got booked up so we just had a day in Kirkwall. Pleasant little town but not much to see or do, a poor substitute for Norway. Seems P&O have a record of cancelling ports?

Cabin Review

Deluxe Stateroom with Balcony and Bath/Shower

Bland and uninspiring. Decent shower though.
