This cruise was going to Norway and Iceland for 14 nights. On arrival we were first given the wrong medallion then had to sit and wait to get on board. Once on board we went to our cabin Dolphin 443 all seemed nice and clean. but when we had a little bit of not quite so calm weather the cabin got very noisy and sounded like the ship was falling apart, I was awake most of the night on a few occasions, also the patio door was very hard to open. the maintenance person was called who listened and said yes, he could hear it, but he couldn't do anything. He put talc powder on the rubber seal around the patio door which worked for all of two days. There was only one chair too, one of us had to sit on the bed as it was too cold to sit on the balcony. Not sure if the cabin was vacuumed very often as there was fluff everywhere from the carpet. There wasn't.' enough sitting on board and had to stand quite a lot of the time when watching "The Jaames Band " which was the only group we listened to. The main band in the background of the shows were very good, Trying to get severed was a nightmare having to wait quite often for half an hour to get a coffee. I wondered where my husband was on a few occasions. Dinner was very slow serving too. Trying to get the staff to serve you up in Market Fresh wasn't good, they just didn't seem to care about the public. My husband had to bang his plate on the counter to get severed. As for the excursions they were not worth the money, being quite expensive. One excursion was $199.99 each to go to Vigur Island, we only had 10-minute tour. A tour operator didn't know what she was doing in Norway wasting a lot of time. The shows were awful in the evenings and there wasn't much to do during the day. There never seemed be many friendly staff. The ships engine vibration was awful, feeling it in Market Fresh and Main dining. The most exciting thing that happened was when a helicopter came to take a poor person off the ship. Whoever designed the ship shouldn't design any more as it was awful trying to find and get to places, like the main dining room. As this cruise was a celebration for our 50th wedding anniversary I can truly say we wish we hadn't gone on this cruise.
