The cruise was much more than I anticipated. The overall experience was by far above expectations. The cabin, food, service and excursions were wonderful. I would recommend this company for all your river cruising. The cabin was always cleaned early and refreshed with towels. The refreshments in the refrigerator was a great selection. Fresh cookies in the room in the afternoon. Beds were ready in the evening. The early evening informational talk was awesome as it gave us a chance to know what to expect the following day. The day before disembarkment was great as it let us know what to do and at what time. They knew everyone's airport schedule and got us there in plently of time. I went on a Mississippi river cruise with another company (this was prior to Viking conducting cruises on the Mississippi) and I thought that was wonderful. However, Viking was more than a step above. I would only cruise with Viking in the future.
