Having never cruised myself before(my wife, mother and father in-law had) I felt a slight apprehension when booking, especially after reading all of the negative reviews, well what a waste of time reading them, as the ship, staff and overall cruise were superb!! First about the ship, It is an impressive looking ship and certainly looks the part, our cabin was a welcome surprise as it was a standard inside cabin which very clean and well presented, it was always immaculate(bed made and bathroom cleaned)twice a day! There were a number of bars to visit which offered a different atmosphere for whatever your mood, bars for entertainment or a quiet drink. Throughout the evening you could enjoy the main entertainment, a classical pianist, the resident band and much more. This brings me onto the entertainment - fantastic and to use the word 'variety' again, there was something for everyone. The main entertainment of the evening firstly comprised of the game show of the night, fun to watch or participate in with a team of great entertainment hosts! This was followed by a show in the theatre ranging from West end shows, to cabaret acts. The stars of the show were all talented singers and dancers putting on a flawless performance every night. The theatre itself was well presented and comfortable with staff on hand to take your order. The restaurant facilities were always well presented, offering a wide variety to suit many tastes. The quality of the food was excellent. The staff in all of the bars and the restaurants were exceptionally friendly, very attentive offering excellent service, nothing was too much trouble! During the day throughout the ship there were activities to take part in or just watch and all were enjoyable. However, if you wanted peace and quiet there were always locations to suit during the day and the evening. To sum up - great ship, great entertainment, great food and great staff! Would definitely book again!

Cabin Review

Cabin IN

Cabin 7007 was obviously deck 7 at the end of the corridor. It was a quiet location and suited us perfectly.
