The scenery along the Rhine was unforgettable and the shore excursions were educational and entertaining. The majestic palaces excursion was my favorite.

I've had several people recommend Viking River cruises and I wanted something extra special to celebrate mine and my husband's 42nd anniversary. It surpassed our expectations!

Edy was our stateroom steward and did an excellent job taking care of us. We ate in the dining room for most breakfasts and almost every dinner where the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent.

We started with a pre-excursion in Amsterdam; the weather and the city were beautiful. We stayed at the Hotel Okura and had the best meal of our lives in their Yamazato restaurant. We took the walking tour which displayed many of the sights, and also took in the Rijksmuseum and an evening canal tour.

Cabin Review

Veranda Stateroom

Our stateroom was very roomy and well-appointed. The balcony was a favorite spot to sit and leisurely enjoy the river and scenery.

Port Reviews

Amsterdam

It was at the start of our cruise. The people are very friendly, the city feels safe and is clean and inviting.
