This was a covid carry over cruise for us but we added the passion play and a pre and post extension. We have taken a prior cruise snd have seen some other German rivers but we were intrigued by the itinerary especially Vienna and Budapest on this one. Unfortunately we were unable to dock in Budapest due to low water but Viking took care of things best they could and included a river cruise for lunch on a local boat. Service was excellent as usual!

Cruise Director Paul was exceptional! He was very funny but so professional. He worked very hard organizing the excursions, helping disabled guests and making sure all went smoothly. He was everywhere!

One complaint was the hotel near Oberammergau. It had no air conditioning. It was unusually hot in Europe and they probably don’t need it most of the time but for the price we pay, I expected to be comfortable.

Cabin Review

Veranda Suite

We opted for a larger cabin this time and really enjoyed the extra room and complimentary laundry! The flowers snd fruit were a nice touch. Everything was jn perfect condition.
