We've wanted to do a Baltic cruise and we knew Viking would be good. We were disappointed that Russia, Finland and Estonia were taken off the agenda. We had done the Rhine/Danube River cruise and loved it. The crew was always friendly, attentive and meeting our every need. The boat was always spotless and our room was cleaned daily. The 6 food venues were always good--especially the buffet. The various entertainments were excellent! The guides at each port were excellent and spoke English very well. We had to use the on-board customer service serveral times and they were very helpful in scheduling excursions, providing maps and scheduling special dining experiences. Before boarding we had to wait about 30 minutes, but Viking provided some foods and drinks with seating in a buildingn on the dock. We enjoyed the extra touches that the crew added such as warm cloths, champagne or orange juice, clapping and dancing as we returned onboard. An overall wonderful experience!
