We chose the cruise because it was out of Haifa and was the right length. I knew from the reviews that it wouldn't be at the level of our previous cruises with Celebrity or even Royal Caribbean. But it was disappointing.

The food was very basic and the buffet was especially disappointing. The pizza however, available from 12 to midnight was excellent. The service was ok, but regularly we ran into things like the juice was finished, or there was no more ice, etc. The restaurant for dinner was ok, but didn't offer any great surprises.

Compared to ships I've been on there was less space to relax in. The pools were tiny and the spray pool for the kids was activated later than advertised most days. The crew around it didn't seem to know when it would open and it's not clear why it wasn't on from the morning.

Cabin Review

Junior Ocean View

By mistake I chose separate beds. But it turned out to be a good mistake. As opposed to the queen sized bed, I know this from the room where I intended to take the separates, the room is much more comfortable to get around. If single beds for a week isn't totally unacceptable I recommend you consider it.

There is plenty of closet and drawer space. Shower is tiny. Service in the room is good with a few visits a day for cleaning and order.

The on and off at each of the destinations was smooth. Where there's tethering, you can just go down after 12:00 without advanced tickets for specific times. Unless you really want maximum time on shore it's good to take advantage of the space while others are gone and go later. Most seem to go early and come back earlier than expected.

Port Reviews

Real comfortable for just getting off and roaming around and eating local foods. A few steps and you're in the action.
