We had heard many positive things about Viking. We also wanted to attend the Passion Play held in Oberammergau, so we tied these two things together. Even though we were not able to board the Jarl at its first port due to low river conditions, the rest of the adventure was delightful! We met new friends and enjoyed each excursion as well as our upfront extension in Munich. The food choices were plentiful and the wine and beer pairings matched up very well. The musical entertainment each night was fun. The crew did an exceptional job of taking care of us each day with a smile in place. We also enjoyed when just cruising and enjoying the views. We were also amazed as we went thru each lock to see how much we lowered each time. Bottom line - we will no doubt find another cruise to venture with Viking in the future.
