At dock in Pais
The keep above La Roche-Guyon

We chose this cruise because it was in an area I had been to but my wife had not. We went early and spent a few days in Paris. We did this on our own as we did not want to be limited, we wanted to see certain things. This worked well for us, an inexpensive Airbnb in a nice neighborhood with everything in easy walking distance.

Boarding the ship was easy. The dock was just downriver from the Eiffel Tower, and we had crew members meet us on the dock and escort us to guest services to check in. The crew member then took our bags again and led us to our room, showed us how the lock and lights worked, set our bags down, and we were done. 5 minutes from dock to room. And the rest of the cruise was much the same.

The food was pretty good. I know some folks won’t be wowed by it, but there was always something i liked. I tried some new things, and enjoyed some twists on old things. Dining was very informal and open seating - no reservations, no multiple seatings. We had great waitstaff, young folks from all over europe.

Cabin Review

Cabin was on the main deck with a window at water level. Loved it!
