We chose this cruise because of an email we received for a 25th anniversary sale on Viking. It was indeed a sale! The ship's staff from waiters, to reception staff, to house staff was superior. We had Renee as the cruise director and he was phenomenal. The menus were excellent and each dish was superior (loved the ice cream!!). It was nice to have a small ship affording us the opportunity to meet so many of the great passengers. The entertainment was most enjoyable. Loved the last night of dancing, too. Going on a Viking cruise spoiled us - nothing compares!!! Thank you for a very special and memorable trip.

The excursions that were included were excellent. Each guide had a different and unique presentation - most informative and enjoyable. Our German guide Angela was especially notable.
