We had never been to the Mediterranean and it was a perfect opportunity! Loved every port and every excursion! The service on the ship was excellent. We loved the variety of restaurants to choose from. Our room was fabulous! The staff is second to none. They were like our family. We highly recommend doing the 30 days. We started in Istanbul and ended in Barcelona--they were our two favorite ports. What I love about Viking is the ambiance of their ships. The ships are simple and elegant. The color schemes are relaxing. Even with 900 passengers, we never felt crowded or stressed. If ever there were glitches, Viking always had a Plan B. We always felt comfortable and safe and in good hands. We will probably never choose any other cruise line. Viking is our first choice, and we will recommend It to anyone looking for a great sailing experience.
