The Viking Homelands cruise of Scandinavia and other countries on the Baltic Sea has always been high on our bucket list. After two years of no cruises due to Covid, we were excited when Viking started back up and there were openings on their new ship Mars. The gracious Viking staff took care of our every need. Our arrival flight into Stockholm was delayed and we did not embark until nearly midnight but Viking staff greeted us warmly, took care of our luggage and arranged for sandwiches and beverages to be brought to our room. Each day there were many options on board for entertainment and social activities plus quiet areas to read a book from the library or sit and enjoy the views. Dining quality and variety was top-notch. Beautiful port cities with amazing history, fun excursions and loads of pictures - we were so glad to experience it all!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda Stateroom

Cabin 4048 was near mid-ship with beautiful furniture and it had plenty of storage and space to move around. We especially loved the heated floor in the bathroom and the low light for visibility at night.
