All of my adult life, I have wanted to do a river cruise. This cruise did not disappoint. Immediately upon arriving at the airport there were Viking people to greet and help us.The food was too good (couldn't resist it) There were plenty of choices at each meal. They consisted of local dishes and typical food, like steak and salmon. The state room was comfortable and clean. The shower was marvelous. The included excursions were informative and fun. The guides were friendly and made the tour interesting. It was easy to get back to the towns from the ship after lunch. The crew was friendly, helpful and efficient. The lounge was comfortable and the act ivies after dinner were fun. The port talks (given each evening about the next day) were informative and interesting. Because it was a river cruise, it was small (only 190 passengers). I am looking forward to when I can go on another Viking cruise in the future.
