We had done a river cruise on Viking before, so we expected some great service and they provided it again. The food was great, although we had hoped for more local German specialties. Service in the restaurant was excellent, even as the number of wait staff dropped off as we sailed. It seemed to take just a little longer to get some attention.

Our cabin was kept clean and the bed made no matter the time of day.

We got lucky with the water level on the Rhine - just enough to keep our cruise going. Prior to sailing, we heard that some other cruises had to swap ships or take busses from city to city. Read more
