Sail Date: Jul 2022
Cabin: Deluxe Veranda 2A

We booked this cruise very last minute on July 8, for the July 22-29 sailing.

We flew non-stop the morning of the cruise from Sacramento to Seattle. We had fullfilled our Arrive-Can and pre-cruise Covid requirements online before we left.

Embarkation was frenetic. There were 2,524 passengers out of 2,850 capacity this sailing on the Solstice, or 88.6 % full.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2A

We liked our deluxe veranda cabin location midship on the 7th floor, # 7177.

Room steward Ariel was excellent!

Port Reviews

Juneau

Loved Dog Mushers Camp here!

Ketchikan

Rain didn't spoil our Sunday in Ketchikan!

Skagway

Loved shopping at the Rushin Tailor-a fabulous quilting shop! Loved the crab ckaes!

Victoria

Butchart Gardens are beautiful, but not as well maintained as I expected. Roses smelled heavenly, but had not been recently pruned. Lots of black spot, too. Disappointing.
