We were a bit nervous when we learned that our 18 night cruise on the Quest was the first sailing since covid shutdown. However, Seabourn staff did a wonderful job and most things seemed "back to normal". We sailed from Barcelona to Ravenna (a port 2 hour included bus ride from Venice) as large ships can no longer dock in Venice.

There was some pre-cruise confusion on check-in, ship board preferences, credits and covid test requirements but that was quickly forgotten. We had to show our negative test prior to boarding and then we tested again at the start of the second leg of our cruise.

Our PH suite was ready and waiting with chilled champagne, flowers and fruit and we had two wonderful attendants who serviced us twice a day. We were in 1022, close to the Observation Bar, where bartender Samantha quickly became one of our "best friends". Also kudos to many of the staff whose names I have forgotten other than Marino at the Patio. The maitre'd at Keller (forgot his name) also took excellent care of us. Read more
