I took my 6 and 9 year-olds on this trip while my dear wife stayed behind with our 6-week old. It was a great "dad trip" before school started. We did not even get off the ship in Nassau (as planned). I expected everyone to have the same idea in Nassau and stay on the ship, but no. The pool deck had plenty of space, the pools were nearly empty, and it was even easy to score a hot tub entirely to ourselves. Coco Cay was again excellent and one of the driving factors for booking this trip. I highly recommend booking the "Beach Club" access. The ship itself appeared in excellent condition and cleanliness. Every single crew member was pleasant to interact with. Amazingly, a bartender from Vintages (Gary) who happened to be working pool deck remembered me from our last cruise a year ago. I'm not sure if that says more about me spending time at Vintages or his great memory, but it was impressive either way. We enjoyed the 3 day getaway and it was a great value, especially since it was a short drive to Port Canaveral from home.
Everything worked. Perfectly clean. Lots of space for just me and two kids. Some COVID protocol seems to still be lingering... there were no room service menus and this ship does not have the TV tech to replace them. Not a big deal to us, but notable, especially since the suite categories are supposed to have an enhanced room service option.
