I booked this cruise (along with the preceding 10 day cruise to Scandinavia and Germany) one month before boarding. It was a fabulous price so we decided to go for it even though we had to fly to Copenhagen from Hawaii, and had to take the Covid 19 test in Copenhagen a couple of days before boarding. We are 4 star Mariners and this was our 10th cruise on HAL, our first in 4 years.
Overall, I loved the ship. We booked an F oceanview cabin but were upgraded to a C (1087) which was midship, which made it convenient for us to walk to the restaurant and also to the World Stage. I believe we were located right under the Rolling Stone venue and we could hear some very slight thumping from the bathroom, but otherwise, we had no problems with noise.
I really liked the cabin, with the large screen TV (50 inches) and there were more than enough power outlets to handle all our electronic charging needs. In past sailings, I had a problem with the lack of power outlets, but this ship had at least 5 different outlets (dresser area and around the nightstands). The dresser area even has a couple of plugs for European appliances. The standalone shower was amazing, with hot water from the get-go. I prefer a bathtub but unfortunately, they seem to be phased out on the newer ships.
